
BlackDoctor.org (BDO), the number one online resource for African American health, is seeking a copy editor to proofread and copy edit content produced by BDO staff members and freelancers. As copy editor, you will also review content for clarity, readability, and completeness.
You must have an excellent command of English language and grammar, be proficient with Microsoft Word, and have experience working with AP style guidelines. You also must be motivated and able to complete tasks with minimum direction. Finally, you must have excellent team/collaboration skills. From the ad: “The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years professional experience as copy editor for web-based, print-based or multimedia content.
