Breakthrough, an online counseling service, is seeking a graphic designer to create workflows, graphics, and landing pages. From the ad: “The contract would be about ten hours per week, start immediately, and could lead to ongoing work if results are great. We have an urgent upcoming deadline so we want to hire someone quickly. We strongly prefer someone local to the Bay Area but are open to someone remote.”
The ideal candidate would have:
- 5+ years of experience in designing professional-grade websites
- Strong ability to create intuitive workflows for a non-tech savvy audience
- A love for minimal design
- Extensive knowledge of typography and color
- Experience creating cross-browser compatible designs
- Strong attention to detail - inconsistent designs should bother you!
- Familiarity with Ruby on Rails is a plus
